The shrine of Shri Vitthala in Pandharpur is a prominent center of the Bhakti cult. Shri Vitthala, fondly called as Nadabrahma.This temple town is situated on the banks of the Bhima River, attracting thousands of devotees daily.
This sacred place has been visited and rejoiced in by great saints such as Shri Vadirajaru, Shri Rayaru, Shri Purandara Dasaru, Shri Jagannatha Dasaru and many more. It is the abode of Shri Vitthala, who was pleased by the devotion of Pundalika.
Nearby are other significant places like Vishnu Pada Mandira, Nira Narasimha, and Gopalapura.
