Badari is a holy place that welcomes all devotees with open arms. Indeed, everyone desires to visit this place at least once during their lifetime to accrue merit and also to experience something unique.
We have arranged for a special pilgrimage to this Himalayan holy land on account of Deepavali and Padmaka Yoga. This will be a 14-day pilgrimage from Bengaluru. You are welcome to take part.

Highlight of the yatra
Deepavali Festival & Padmaka Yoga
The worshiping season of almost all temples in the Himalayas conclude around the festival of Diwali every year. It is an eternal belief that the deities will conduct the worship of the temples here from Deepavali to next year Vaishakha. Some temples close their doors before Deepavali while others close after a couple of days after it. It is opened again only after the winter is over and the summer begins. The temple at Badrinath is usually closed after Deepavali. The Deepavali celebration at the temple here is typically accompanied by the richness of the local culture. It gives a great feeling to celebrate Deepavali here.
Padmakayoga is a unique auspicious day in astrology. The day of the confluence of Karttikamasa, Amavasya, Monday and Visakhanakshatra is called Padmakayoga. This is the day when Sri Vyasa Raja got rid of the Kuhayoga danger of Sri Krishna Devaraya. Dharmashastras say that Tirthasnana, Tarpana, Shraddha and Donations should be done specially on this day. There are scriptures saying that by doing this practice, one gets the results of doing good deeds for hundreds of eclipses. This year Padmakayoga is on the new moon day after Naraka Chaturdashi. This time during Badariyatra, this opportunity will be provided to our pilgrims to perform Diwali celebration and Padmakayoga.

Most part of the yatra descent double / triple bed room is provided to stay on twin / triple sharing basis. At Badri we provide quad shared rooms (between two families). Twin shared rooms at Badari can also be opted by yatris but it is subject to availabelity.
Group accommodation is provided where night stay is not required.

Yatris will get the detailed itinerary only after the booking is made.
Since there are many third-party services involved in this package with different set of conditions, there is no 100% refund available. However, seats may be transferred to others on your own discretion. Such substitute yatris should submit their details through yatra reservation form. Also, they should arrange for their train/air tickets on their own effort.
Refund when a yatri cancels the ticket
- Upto 30 August 2023 : 50% refund of the advance paid. Also, railway booking charges will be deducted.
- Beyond 1st September 2023 : No refunds are made
Yatra may be cancelled by vasudevayatra.in when the requirement of minimum number of yatris is not met. Such cancellation will be informed to booked yatris well in advance and refunds are made as given below:
- Train yatra: Only railway ticket cancellation charges are deducted as per railway rules.
