Tour Guidelines & Essential Information
- Duration: The yatra is a 4-day trip.
- Transport: Travel will be arranged via a 2×2 Deluxe Non-A/C Bus. In the event that the number of pilgrims is fewer than 20, a Deluxe Tempo Traveller (T.T.) will be used instead.
- Seat Allocation: Bus seats will be allotted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Boarding Point: Departure is from Seetha Circle, Nayandahalli Jn and Gorgunte palya near Dakshin Delicacy
- Luggage Rules: Pilgrims must carry limited luggage only. Suitcases are strictly not permitted.
- Luggage Assistance: Porters/luggage handling service will be provided exclusively for Premium Class pilgrims.
- Rest Stops: The bus will make two scheduled restroom breaks en route.
Dining & Catering Details
- Day of Departure: Pilgrims are requested to finish their Parana (fast-breaking meal) before arriving at boarding point. Light snacks/refreshments (Phalahara) will be arranged en route depending on convenience. Please note: Tea/Coffee will not be provided during the journey.
- Dinner will be provided upon arrival in Udupi.
- Sri Krishna Matha Prasadam: On one day during the stay in Udupi, time will be allotted to partake of Teertha Prasadam at Sri Krishna Matha. Please note: The cost of lunch for this specific day is not included in the tour package.
Accommodation & Room Categories
Accommodation for all three nights will be arranged in Udupi only. Twin-sharing (two persons per room) accommodation will be provided to all pilgrims:
- Regular Class: Non-A/C Economy Room featuring a double bed, attached bathroom, and hot water (one bucket per person in the morning).
- Superior Class: Non-A/C Deluxe Room featuring a double bed, attached bathroom, and 24-hour hot water facility.
- Premium Class: A/C Room featuring a double bed, attached bathroom, and 24-hour hot water facility.
Temple Visits, Rituals & Rules
- Darshan: Pilgrims must arrange all temple darshans independently. Those desiring Special/Express Darshan may do so by paying the respective temple fees separately.
- Chowki Pankti Prasadam: Partaking in Teertha Prasadam at the Chowki Pankti is subject to the rules of the Paryaya Matha. Desiring pilgrims must book the required Seva in advance.
- Madhwa Sarovara Bath: Pilgrims wishing to take a holy dip in the Madhwa Sarovara must complete it between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
Code of Conduct & Punctuality
- Punctuality: Strict adherence to time is mandatory. The bus will not wait for more than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled departure time at any location. Latecomers must arrange their own transport onward at their own expense.
- Cooperation: Pilgrims are expected to maintain harmony and courtesy with fellow travelers. The tour managers reserve the right to offboard any pilgrim midway if they engage in unnecessary disputes or fail to abide by the tour regulations.
Safety & Disclaimer
- Personal Safety: Pilgrims must exercise extreme caution while taking holy dips at Madhwa Sarovara, the Suvarna River, or any other water body.
- Liability: Vasudevayatra.in shall not be held responsible or liable for any mishaps, accidents, or untoward incidents occurring during the yatra.
- Yatris agree to assume risks connected with the journey and agree to accept the terms and conditions of this yatra as described in this document. vasudevayatra.in is not responsible for any physical and mental damages or illness or loss of life caused by accidents, unpredictable circumstances like bandh, hartal, rasta roko, wars, train or flight delay, all sorts of pandemic, all sorts of natural hazards and aspects beyond our control. You agree not to hold vasudevayatra.in, its agents and staff responsible for the above-mentioned factors.
- Vasudevayatra.in puts honest efforts in extending its cooperation on humanitarian basis during any mishaps; however, neither financial nor medical responsibility against such incidents are taken. Yatris should handle such cases on their own cost.
- Vasudevayatra.in can make changes in yatra schedule during inevitable circumstances.
- Special Note: Yatra may halt for safety reasons during bad weather conditions. At such times, yatris will have to bear extra expenditure for boarding and lodging for those effective days and applicable charges for return journey.
